God’s goodness and favor has brought success to this great church down through the years. She was organized on November 4, 1871, and although 2 tragic fires took their buildings, one in 1880 and the other in 1907 this church pushed forward in the will of God and built new buildings and went on to start new mission works. The 1st was Walnut Grove Baptist Church in 1940 and Brookside Baptist Church in Bristol in 1954.
Many other additions renovations and changes have been made down through the years, and one of the greatest was moving across the street to build a new sanctuary and educational facility in 2002. And now the Lord’s favor has shined upon this great church once again, even during a global pandemic, by allowing us to build our newest sanctuary and education facility in 2021!
